York Orientation Day (YOD) is the formal on-campus event to welcome incoming students at York University. You will have the chance to meet your College Heads, Professors, and Peers. You will learn about York University's excellent resources to help transition you to a new learning environment.
The Faculty of Health organized a conference full of exciting workshops and activities, where you get to:
- Attend your Academic Orientation to learn about your program's expectations
- Meet your First-year Professors and Graduate Students before classes start
- Meet your Peer Mentors and fellow students from the Faculty of Health
- Explore the Campus through a Scavenger Hunt
Join your student club organizations and explore resources available for York U Students, such as:
- Student Success Programs (PASS)
- Learning Skills Services (LSS)
- Health Education & Promotion
- Student Accessibility Services (SAS)
- Student Counselling, Health & Well-being (SCHW)

- 12-1 pm Registration and Icebreakers
- 1-5 pm Orientation and Breakout Rooms
- 5-6 pm Dinner
- 6-8 pm Welcome Ceremony
